About Will’s Jams

Will Stroet of Will’s Jams is a nationally acclaimed musician, educator, father and former CBC Kids TV star from Vancouver, BC.

Over the past 20 years, Will has performed 3,000+ high-energy shows across Canada and China, entertaining kids at festivals, theatres, and schools.

With 12 albums under his belt and multiple accolades, including a JUNO nomination, 10 WCMA and five CFMA nominations, Will’s music is recognized nationwide.

Jessica Tyndale of Seeka Sings is also a French instructor at the University of Alberta and a devoted mom of two young boys.

She holds a Master of Arts from the U of A and is passionate about early literacy and French as a Second Language.

Through Seeka Sings, she blends jazz, folk, pop, hip-hop, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms in English and French to foster language development, motor skills, social-emotional learning, diversity, and anti-racism.

About Seeka Sings

Virtual Programs

Will et Seeka’s virtual French music program resource is based on their debut album, “Will et Seeka: Amis avec tout le monde” (nominated for a 2023 Western Canadian Music Award) and the English version, “Will & Seeka: Friends with Everyone” (nominated for a 2024 Canadian Folk Music Award & 2025 WCMA).

Since its launch in 2022, this program has been widely used by educators in school districts across Canada to support French language learning for students in elementary French Immersion and grades 4-6 Core French programs.

We love dancing along to Will et Seeka’s music.

In fact, we have enjoyed their music videos so much this year that by the time they came to visit our school, they really felt like celebrities. My students could hardly contain their excitement to see Will et Seeka live in our gym.

I started using Will et Seeka’s songs as a way to help my students learn French in a fun way. I didn’t realize that singing them together was actually going to strengthen our sense of community as a class.
